most of the debate over rankings (other than with kappa) is semantics between positions in the middle tier. APhi/SK: Both top, both have problems. Both have lost their shine in the greek community, so to speak, but the other chapters just aren't on their level in terms of attractiveness. Chi O/Kappa: Chi O is on the rise and Kappa is falling (this point has been rehashed 1000 times and doesn't need to be explained again). Chi O has the social life of Kappa but with the grades of ADPi, and they're constantly winning things. They're annoying af because they're so competitive, so it's understandable why other chapters don't like them, but they're desirable for PNMs in recruitment at the end of the day. Arguably the most well rounded chapter at GW. ADPi/KD: ADPi hasn't had the highest grades on campus for the past two semesters, so their whole "smart but not party girls" vibe doesn't really hold, since Chi Os go out and have had the highest GPA over the past two terms. ADPi also has held the Panhel president role for the past 4/5 years, which has caused a lot of drama among other sororities. So, they're falling in grades but maintaining in leadership, but not on the rise overall. By comparison, KD's PC 17 was a big comeback from their lackluster PC 16, they've won several award for being panhellenic, and just established a colony at another school. They're no longer the "new kids on the block" so to speak. They're still not anywhere near Chi O, but they're on par with ADPi now I'd say. AEPhi/Pi Phi (Maybe Theta if you were to rank them): AEPhi took a great PC last year (even beating out Kappa), but a lot of those girls dropped. Pi Phi's was average for them, and their Spring PC last year was also average. These two are really up to what you're looking for, because if you want good grades, you'd pick Pi Phi, and if you want a really close knit group of similar girls, you'd pick AEPhi. People will debate until next semester where to rank Theta before they have their first recruited PC. They have some super cute girls and some absolute dogs, but I think the numbers is really going to be where their issues lie. They seem to have recovered from the social media issues from last year too, which is a good sign. I'd put them slightly below Pi Phi and above SDT if I were to rank them right now. SDT: used to be a lower-middle tier chapter, and they're slowly climbing their way back up. They're definitely still above Phi Sig, but not on the same level as Pi Phi. Phi Sig: Does their own thing and everyone respects them for it. Not caught up in all the drama of chapters in the middle tier/trying to claw their way into the middle tier, which is for the best.
