I'm mixed on this. I think OP is speaking to the majority, like most girls who really care about grades more than going to Eden will be more comfortable at ADPi, and most girls who like hanging out with very similar people will like AEPhi over Chi O. I think it's more, go where you actually fit, regardless of tiers. Of course in chapters over 100 girls, there will be hot Phi Sigs and ADPis that go out every night, but it's more about overarching values. ADPi and Chi O have had consistently top grades for years - you don't see a lot of girls getting bad grades in those chapters like you do with Kappa. Sure, Kappa has some very intelligent girls who are campus leaders, but consider their GPA - they had the lowest GPA last year, so will a valedictorian PNM fit in with the majority of the sisters? That being said, we shouldn't fall into the clearly divisive stereotypes, because that's when it gets mean. The chapters aren't identical, and they don't offer identical experiences to all members, but we should embrace that difference rather than tear each other apart for not being cookie cutter.
