Time commitment depends on the sorority, but during your new member process you will have weekly meetings which are mandatory, but other activities outside of this are more than likely optional. Some sororities do fine and others don't, but they all have attendance systems that allow you to balance school with your sorority and other commitments. All sororities are accommodating and will understand if you can't make a certain event due to illness, but encourage your to time manage so that you can do school and make it to events. I wouldn't let the above comment scare you, what you put into the sorority is what you're going to get out of it. It's all about finding the right balance for you! Hope to see you at recruitment :)
