I'm from Dallas with great grades/resume, attractive/stylish, am comfortable in most social situations, though I'm not an attention hog....but financially, I come from a modest, middle class background and will have mostly student loans, grants and scholarships to fund USC with a part-time job as well. My older sister is an active APhi at a large, state university. I will have rec letters for all houses. What are my chances for APhi in particular? I was told that USC rush is intimidating because certain houses are looking for girls showing signs of affluence and having celebrity/wealth connections....is this true??
