This question and these comments are exactly why people think sorority girls are vain, vapid, materialistic, and fake 😑😑😑 For anyone that's looking into joining a sorority, don't let these comments make you think badly of Greek life. My best advice to you would be to avoid joining your freshman year. Instead get to know the girls, befriend them, and learn as much as you can about them as individuals, as an organization, and get more information on the sorority and what they're about. If you're still convinced the sorority life is right for you, or have realized that you really click with one and know you can afford it, then go through formal recruitment in the fall your sophomore year!
