Hi girls, I wanted to apologize if my first post came off sounding threatening, as it was by no means meant to do so. As Panhellenic, we are here to protect you all as PNMs, not punish you. We do take dirty rushing very serious, as our mission is to create a fair and honest recruitment, which dirty rushing puts in jeopardy. When I said that it could get more serious, I meant that if we (PHC) don't find out about these things happening, we can't do anything to stop them. Thus, when we do find out about them (which is almost inevitable later on) it will have only continued, probably to more girls, and gotten even worse. As mentioned, PHC often hears about dirty rushing when it is too late- last year it was after the PNM got dropped from the chapter she had been in communication with and she didn't understand why. I recommended you email our president because she was on PHC last year and has dealt with similar situations before. You will not be in any kind of trouble, nor will your recruitment experience be compromised in any way. However, if you would like to send the email anonymously, that is totally fine. Lastly, as far as the emails saying that your information was provided by USC Greek Life, the sorority recruitment leaders have access to the information on your recruitment application as they have to know who is in recruitment. They know they are NOT allowed to contact PNMs AT ALL, even if it weren't "official rush contact".
