My ex DG roommates did not flunk out. They needed additional classes to graduate and it was significantly cheaper to take classes as SMU (as they called it) and transfer the credits back to SC. Funny, I believe they both graduated, one lives at home and the other manages a Starbucks in Orange County. I always felt those credits from SMU (SMCC) probably are a blemish on their resumes. As for Texas, I have been in both major airports on my way elsewhere. It's hot, muggy and flat as a pancake. I suppose if you like that sort of place, you are welcome to it. You never hear about anything important coming out of Texas. Just a lot of conservative mumbo-jumbo, racism and bigotry. You keep your Texas and I'll keep my New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
