Tbh, it's hard to tell. From my view, most Indians are REALLY into their school work and like to self-segregate. For these reasons, there aren't a lot of indian frat stars. But if you fit in with a house, you just fit in. Just go and see who you click with. The only difference between tiers is that the Upper (Phi Psi, Lambda, Sig Chi) usually only mix with top sororities and can be selective socially. Upper Middle (AEPi, SAE, Sigma Nu, TKE) are very good as well. They mix with the same sororities, but not as often. You will get an amazing experience in these houses, just like the others. What you make of your experience is up to you. Just be open minded about the whole process. The only other tangible value of being in a "top" house is the superficial "popularity" you gain on the Row. USC is like high school on steroids.
