Coming from someone who is very involved in philanthropy on campus, as well as in a sorority, I can honestly say that the house-run philanthropy is for the most part pretty consistent. Unfortunately, "philanthropy" on the row consists of each house holding their own sporting event where frats pay to participate and get drunk, and a check is written when all is said an done. Each house has a different organization they raise money for, and some are a little closer to home than others so they may be more connected. You are going to find girls involved in philanthropy outside their house everywhere and they will definitely talk about it during recruitment. From my experience in the outside groups, the middle tier houses (ADPi, Gamma Phi and Tri Delt) seem to have pretty consistent involvement across the board, but that doesn't mean the rest of our houses don't. My honest opinion is that you will have your greatest philanthropic involvement outside the house (check out Troy Camp, JEP, volunteer center, or other clubs and orgs you may be interested in) and your chances of finding someone in your future house who is also involved in the org will be pretty high simply because greeks are typically the most involved students all around on campus
