I wouldn't pick an Ivy over USC being a STEM major. I got accepted to MIT and Cal Tech, and chose USC over both. I wanted a life as well as an education and I have no regrets. I didn't apply to Stanford because I didn't think I'd have a shot, but I would have taken it over USC.
