Some sororities do purposely drop their legacies. I honestly don't know why. I think it is a subconscious way of sending a message that they are really competitive. The sorority I'm in dropped some really cute legacies and took me :) Weird, but true. I would think twice about telling anyone I'm a legacy unless your mom, aunt or Grandma is a National Officer.
