I had a similar issue with a fraternity. I did not want to perform the ritual as it used God's name in a way that was foreign to me so... a couple of things. 1. If you want to rush, be up front about what you've communicated here. They will be impressed by your knowledge of the Greek System. Still, it might be helpful to get something in writing saying you will not be required to perform the ritual. 2. Atheism is chill. I consider myself somewhat of an agnostic myself.
