If I am completely honest, I was in the same exact position. You will most likely get a house regardless, except it is going to be more difficult because some houses have cut offs. But I wouldn't let that stop you. I got into what I think is a great house and I am loving my time being greek! Try to get as many letters of rec for ALL the houses, not just "top" ones, but don't be shocked when you get cuts in the first round for your GPA, its nothing personal. You also have a much better chance this semester than I did for the following reasons: Sigma Delta Tau is doing formal rush for the first time, so there is another chance to join a house. And you also have a really great opportunity because Alpha Gamma Delta(they have a house on the row!) is coming to our school and you can be in the founding pledge class if you decide formal rush didn't work out. But I would stick through formal rush personally the whole way through before looking into that. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about getting into all the houses because that doesn't happen to anyone, but rather I'd worry about finding the right fit. Don't be blindsighted by certain houses reputations. These girls can potentially be your best friends for the rest of your life! Panhellenic love and good luck!
