All the houses are great at USC and each offers a different experience depending on what you are looking for. USC has a great Greek community, with all the houses having a social calendar, involved and all have relative high GPA's compared to all non-greeks. If you're joining a house for status or what boys you'll be socializing with you're doing it for the wrong reasons. You should join a house because of the sisterhood and what you can bring to the house. Boys will like you if you're pretty, cute etc no matter what house you are in or not.
