I want to say to all the people freaking out about snap bids (over and done), C.O.B. (who knows), "why didn't my daughter get into XYZ"...chill. Seriously. You cannot manipulate your way into a house and nobody here even knows what spots are open and even if we did , if you're not being told explicitly by those who know then either there isn't a spot or it's not a spot for you. The best way to join is formal rush. If you didn't rush, do it next year. If you rushed and got cut by these chapters, a cold fact that you might have to accept is that many sororities have an explicit, nationals mandated "cut from formal rush, cut from C.O.B." policy, and if they don't have an explicit policy, it's still not likely that they'd cut you for whatever reason and then you'd be the in demand girl for their very few available spots (hint: they are trying to convince their friends who have never rushed). If you don't want to wait for rush, then C.O.B. the ones that are actively (or will actively) advertise their policies (probs AXO, SDT, AGD). If those aren't appealing and you have friends in other chapters, ask. If they don't know or say no or lie, and you don't want to wait again for rush and you don't want to join the houses advertising, then just don't go Greek. There isn't some other magical way, and even if there was (there isn't) you aren't going to hear about it here. This isn't being mean, this is speaking the truth. The above are everybody's options.
