You've given a lot of identifying info here. I'm not a Theta, but if I was it would take me two seconds to find out who this girl is. There are only so many sophomores with a grandmother legacy that were dropped before pref........ But honestly, first of all take a deep breath. If your daughter cared that much SHE'D be on here, not you. This is so helicopter-y. Let your daughter have a life. Nobody knows why your daughter was cut. Her scores weren't high enough to carry her to the last round. They probably didn't hate her, but there are only so many girls they can invite and they liked and scored enough better. Theta will 100% not C.O.B. No flipping way. And they are not going to C.O.B. a girl they cut already even if they do do it (and they won't, they're easily above total). Rushing as a junior is so much harder than as a sophomore because houses won't take more than the 2-3 free ones. The door is closed. She's not going to be a Theta. She'll have an amazing time at USC because it's a fun school, Greek or not, so step away from your computer and let her live her own life without mommy trying to fix her problems. A mother trying to get her daughter in to Theta is a negative, not a positive, especially since you've all but identified her to anyone in the chapter remotely familiar with the PNMs they invited back. You're only hurting her and if she knew she'd be furious.
