You're absolutely right. If a guy or a girl is friends with you only because of your letters then you shouldn't be friends with them. Newsflash: Guys don't care what sorority you are in what they care about is if you're hot. You'll make friends outside the greek system and in other houses regardless of house affiliation. Go with the house you feel comfortable in. Remember, just because that house is a top house now or upper tier doesn't mean that it will remain there forever. Rankings are always changing a lower tier house can become an upper tier house just like a top house can become a mid tier house.
