Top houses do take junior girls, but it is very competitive. Generally, you either have to be very well-connected or incredibly beautiful and/or cool. Houses tend to prefer freshman, but I personally know juniors who have rushed and gotten in. I would wait for the fall, and in the event that you don't get a top house, you can still rush that next spring for a lower tier house.
