its pretty much in rotation - the social chair of each sorority plans what they're doing for exchange with the social chair for each frat, and they go through a cycle. (Except Beta who up until this year was only doing exchanges with Kappa/DG/ADPi, though I heard they did one with APhi this year so I guess that's changed). Everyone has different initiation times, so during I-Days they won't have exchanges. Some do big/little retreats or sisterhood nights on particular Wednesday's, or sometimes even sororities will have really long chapter meetings because they're doing elections or something and not have exchange...it just depends!!
