There are so many things I could say about this so I'll try to keep it quick. A lot of people have felt this way at some point in their respective sororities, especially in first year! But the saying that you get out what you put into it really does hold true. Are you going to study hours, chapter meetings, philanthropy events, sisterhood events, exchanges, etc. etc.? Are you trying to branch out to other girls in your sorority besides the ones your close to? Taking the initiative to ask someone for coffee can go a really long way! I can almost guarantee that no one in your sorority is purposely trying to make you feel left out, but people naturally gravitate towards the ones they're closest too and at this point in the year the stress of school/work/whatever means that people are less likely to put the energy into making new friends. ALSO I'm guessing you're a new active, so you haven't gotten to experience sisterhood retreat in the summer or going through recruitment on the other side. I promise you, it gives you the chance to bond with way more of your sisters and reminds you of why you joined in the first place. One of the best parts about being in a sorority is being part of an organization whose values you really connect with, and being with people who hold those same values. Take the time to really think about your own values, put the time in to get closer to more girls, go to as many events as you can and I promise you will feel more sure of the right choice to make
