Maybe every sorority girl really wants to be friends with girls in other sororities and we're just having catty competition for no reason. Like, tbh I would never judge someone based on what sorority they're in. And honestly? We're all pretty similar. We do philanthropy events. We have similar values (scholarship, morals, leadership, service etc.), traditions, rituals, histories of sisterhood. We're all at UBC, 18-20 something women who were looking to find a community on campus and get more involved. I know it's never going to happen, but I wish we could just stop being so divisive and be friendly to everyone no matter what organization they're in. It always surprises me when I hear someone say "Oh, that sorority is bottom tier," or, "I hate this sorority bc this one girl is awful..." like, I've yet to meet a girl in the Greek system I didn't think was cool.
