First of all, when this website claims that sororities "haze" it is NOT the type of hazing you see in movies. Nobody is physically hurt or humiliated. I know of ONE sorority who makes their pledges pay to throw a party for the older members. Yes, this is considered hazing and they can get in trouble from International, but I doubt any of the pledges actually feel harmed in any way. It's all just for fun. Second, people on GR care about their sorority ranking. In real life, nobody really cares. People have friends in multiple frats and sororities REGARDLESS of which "tier" they are in. As long as you're a nice person who isn't sloppy, people will like you. Third, the fact that you care about sisterhood is a GREAT thing. If I am recruiting someone, that is the first thing I look for. Go through recruitment and don't be afraid to be yourself <3
