Subject:
dear girls going through recruitment...

Poster Message:
I know that this site may be very intimidating. It seems like we're catty, immature girls, and for some of us that may be true. I promise this isn't a proper representation of what the greek system or being in a sorority is really about. Just because a sorority is "Top Tier", "Bottom Tier" or whatever other terms may be used on here, doesn't mean that the sisterhood or opportunities are less there. I promise, being Greek at UBC makes the campus a home, regardless of the sorority you join. We all have exchanges with all of the frats, do Greek Week, and have awesome "all greek" events like ACF. I promise being a girl in a "lower tier" sorority that you chose because the girls are amazing and make you feel comfortable is better. That confidence you gain will be noticed by others, and no one will look down on you for those letters. I promise, that whichever organization you end up in if you choose them for the right reasons, they will love you and you will love them.Even if they weren't your top choice, you have to remember that they want you! They met you and thought you were awesome, thought your skills, your personality and your smile complimented them. They saw the best woman you can become, and they want to make that happen. In the end of the day, a sorority is about how you feel when you walk into the room. It's about meeting women who will drive you to become a better person, and in the end of the day, "No matter your letters, we're all greek together." #panhelpride
