Born and raised in South Vancouver. Love this city and think of it as home. I’m of Indian descent, and reading nasty comments here made me sad, and feel like I’m unwelcome in my own city, the place I’ve lived in the most, the place I call home. I don’t even know why I’m posting here, but I just feel like I have no more home, like the people I grew up with secretly hated me all along. Now I’ve never experienced any negativity in all my life irl, not even really any race related school bullying. Maybe I should just go touch grass, and an online echo chamber isn’t representative of real life.
