It is so important that we hold the women supporting TH accountable for their words and actions. The harm they have caused should not be ignored. However, we also need to hold ourselves accountable for our own actions and words used on this platform. It is one thing to call someone out, but some of the hateful comments I have seen today are on an entirely different level. Despite their ignorance, these are human beings who are going to be impacted by what has happened. I am in no way trying to criticize the good intentions the majority of those posting have, or undermine the importance of talking about SA and holding people accountable for their involvement. Clearly a lot of good has come from this discussion. But if we woke up tomorrow to hear someone discussed on this thread ended their life, would we all be able to live with our actions and words from today? I’m not trying to police this discussion, I just don’t want anyone to hurt themselves because of it.
