I’m in a srat but I’ve ranked a few other than my own before and been positive! Usually the way to tell a self rank is if it’s a perfect score, or recognizes absolutely none of the chapters flaws I’d say. I genuinely love some of the other chapters so I’ve left reviews complimenting them on certain things, or mentioning the type of girls who tend to be in them etc
