What tangible, effective efforts have all the frats taken? Yes "not all" frat members ignore SA but that doesn't mean there has been productive change. I understand wanting a "dialogue" but whenever we have one it feels like the frats make empty promises and fail time after time to follow through. What avenues do sorority women have to report to ALL the frats? Some frats having tangible policies isn't good enough, bc women still experience SA in frats were there are no policies or the policies are kept secret from sorority women (who make up the majority of victims lmao). Also please don't bring up Adshade as a deterrent. When I was SA last summer part of why I didnt come forward is because I was worried she would use my story, and others like it to feed her narrative, and I would be blamed for "ruining the Greek system". I know there are so many fraternity men who genuinely care about survivors, but unfortunately their organizations are not following through at a level that is helpful. You want a dialogue? Talk to your female friends, listen to their experiences, but pressure on your exec to have proper responses in place and hold your brothers accountable even if it's unpopular. As a victim, I know so many women who have called for dialogue for years but many fraternities have consistently failed to take action. This would not be happening if we had been listened to the past 100 times this has happened. Dialogue is useless without results.
