1. The only people who have the authority to hand out tickets are municipal bylaw officers, not the VPD, and especially not the UBC RCMP 2. The ticketing system was approved by the City of Vancouver. UBC is not a part of the City of Vancouver (why we are policed by RCMP not VPD) so the tickets wouldn’t be handed out here regardless.
