I would say it would definitely be really weird. The girls in your pledge class would be mostly 17/18 or 19, and even the oldest girls in the chapter would be 22 or 23 at best. I don't even think it would be a good experience for you either? I cannot imagine being 25 and spending my time at a fraternity exchange on Wednesday nights with a bunch of 18 year olds, it would be kind of uncomfortable for everyone involved actually. Or having to submit my grades to a sorority exec member that's like five years younger than me. Imagine getting told what you can and cannot put on your social media by a bunch of girls who were in grade 7 the year you graduated high school. There are more age appropriate things to get involved with at UBC during your degree.
