Tiers are irrelevant. These are the girls you are going to be studying with, going to parties with, going to weekly chapter meetings with, travelling with, and just generally spending a lot of your time at UBC with. No matter what chapter you are in you will find a great group of girls, every chapter is pretty diverse, and you will be part of a great community, whether that's a "top" chapter, mid or "bottom" - a small number of people post about that stuff on Greekrank and everyone else is just having fun and trying to make their chapter the best it can be. Yes there are higher and lower tier chapters but I have been in the Greek system quite a few years and I have seen certain sororities and fraternities completely change the relations they have and become close with totally different chapters bc you know what? People graduate and leave every year, new people come in, and friendships are shaped by that.
