Subject:
for those wondering about cob

Poster Message:
I’m just going to give it to you straight. First off, if you are a pnm and you are on greekrank your viewpoint of sororities and their reputation is probably already very skewed and I strongly advise you stop looking at posts that talk about other chapters while recruitment is going on. Now if you’re still stubborn af and want to know about cob: here’s the hard truth. COB either happens after bids day or during spring recruitment. This is due to people in chapters dropping, exchange, co op, etc. That being said, just because there will inevitably be people going on exchange or coop every term, it doesn’t mean a space will open for PNMS. why? Because there are also returning inactive members. COB after bids day is not ran by panhel, meaning you will NOT hear about chapters doing cob unless you are invited/asking around (do keep in mind if you ask around in a really unprofessional manner, you will be turned away.) If you have 0 connections to the sorority you want and want to do this, it’s pretty much impossible because you will need an invitation to informal cob in the fall. Spring cob is ran by panhel, but I can guarantee it will be the “lower tier” chapters that will be doing this. You will be notified about this event by following panhel on social media. Hope this helps
