When you go through recruitment and join a sorority, it's not about what "tier" you end up in. It's not about which fraternities you have exchanges with, or what formals you get asked to. It's about whether you actually want to be surrounded by that group of girls for the next four years you're in university. If you're surrounded by girls that are there for the sisterhood and to support each other and to become better people, then you will have an amazing time in your sorority and you will look back on it with really happy memories. If you join a chapter that doesn't truly feel like "you" because you read stuff on GR, then you will always feel unhappy and you will drop before you even get close to graduating and wish you had never joined in the first place.
