Subject:
ubc fraternity breakdown pt iii

Poster Message:
Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI): Used to be a much stronger presence. Take brotherhood aspect seriously. Have been unlucky that so many of their parties were shut down so early over the last couple of years however have been extremely ambitious with throwing huge parties which is something UBC is lacking. Hot (maybe hottest) rush hostesses. Reputation for being more alternative in terms of clothing. Dont take events that seriously but generally well liked. Ranking: Middle Tier Psi Upsilon: Previously known as 'phi who?' which is a nickname that still carries on. The fraternity has done a lot of work to improve and is no longer considered a total joke. Have thrown a couple of good parties recently. No real niche in the greek system. Aren't selective in choosing guys yet still not many members. Often have guys involved in lots of events. Slowly going in the right direction. Ranking: Bottom Tier Sigma Chi: Very well known on campus. The letters are worn a lot of the times by the guys. Guys are considered hot yet are often referred to as douchey. Throw a couple of parties a year that are very well organized. Isolated from the rest of the fraternities. Were a bigger influence than they are now but the previous momentum they had is enough to currently keep them as a top house. Very one sorority minded. Guys tend to fit a certain mold. The guys put a lot of work into keeping their reputation, less relaxed than others. Well liked by girls in and out of the greek system. Ranking: Top Tier
