Don't feel like you have to join a sorority just because your friends are in one! That being said, if YOU feel the desire to meet more new people, be part of a sisterhood and actually want to try something new then go through recruitment because YOU want to. If you've already established these close friendships it doesn't really matter where you end up, these girls will still be your friends and you'll have the chance to make even more. Some of my closest friends are in other sororities or not in one at all. I know I am biased but I really do recommend going through recruitment with an open mind and just seeing which girls you feel most comfortable with and which chapter you can see yourself growing from the most!!
