Just like it would be really lame to go to a house party where you didn't know anyone to party on the weekend, you shouldn't just show up uninvited at the village to drink if you're not in a fraternity and don't have friends there. It's not a bar or a club, it's people's houses and unless it's rush season it's not open to non-members
