Some sororities are much sportier than others. Alpha Gamma Delta is known for being the most athletic sorority, with a lot of varsity athletes and winning a lot of Rec championships. Alpha Delta Pi and Gamma Phi Beta also usually have strong Rec teams. Alpha Phi and Delta Gamma are less sporty but still have some Rec teams in volleyball and soccer. Every sorority does have some Rec sports teams - usually in volleyball, soccer, flag football, dodgeball, sometimes basketball, Ultimate. It's totally not mandatory to be on a team. Additionally, most do Storm the Wall and Day of the Longboat. There are also lots of sisterhood events like yoga or spin classes, and lots of sisters go to Barre or the gym or hiking together! Moral: if you're really sporty, you'll have plenty to do, but if not no stress!
