Expect dues to be between $1300-1500 in your first year. This will go down to about $1000 in your second year and each year after that. Depending on the sorority, you will also need to spend money on things like philanthropy events and clothing (you need a white dress for initiation, certain outfits for mandatory events etc.). Many people pay their dues bi-annually (aka at the start of each semester). However, if you demonstrate financial need and get it approved you can pay your dues on a monthly basis. You will also get fined for missing mandatory events, paying fees late etc. Not to paint a bad picture but just so you're aware of the reality - it's expensive and you need to be prepared for it
