What did I say that was demeaning? I've recruited for 3 years and I've seen thousands of girls go through our house. Telling freshman how the system ACTUALLY works is demeaning? Trying to reinforce that looks are not the ultimate factor is demeaning? The fact that they have no clue and want to tell US how flawed the system is despite not knowing a single thing about it is demeaning for all of Greek life. Look, I'm sorry that a house cut you because you had "frizzy hair," but why would you want to join them in the first place? There are over 16 houses and every PNM has been warned day 1 to not have tunnel vision and determine your favorite house at the start. Instead of fretting over "what's wrong with you" look at what type of positive vibe you give off. Are you being invited back to more athletic, studious, or philanthropic houses? They're inviting you back because they see potential in you to help improve their chapter and join their sisterhood. If you really hate the system so much talk to someone on Panhellenic and tell them about your ideas. If the system was so flawed then it wouldn't be in place. If there's something better then it needs to be stated. Sorority girls do not make the rules, we just follow them. So to be mad at us for something that we have no control over isn't fair.
