responding to IDK............you are right. I mispoke. If you come back from a house after preference round and would not be completely thrilled to be a part of that house then don't list them! Those who enter pledgship with doubts usually never get in the groove and end up dropping. This creates bad feelings all around. The actives and your fellow pledge sisters will resent it. It's not fair to another girl who could have received a bid. Furthermore, the actives in the house put a lot of heart and their own personal funds in to giving new members gifts, etc. The sorority spends money on you. They treat you like a sister from day one. Bottom line: after you attend pref parties DO NOT LIST A HOUSE YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO COMMIT TO.
