Any house that looks down on someone because they're "poor" is not a house you want to be in anyway. You're not the first person to wonder about dues. Just call Panhel. It's not like you need to give your name. Most likely the older the house/longer its house has been on campus the less dues you have to pay. Chapters that are looking to build a house will most likely have much more expensive dues.
