I hope you put more into a sorority you might join than your showing now. Basically, you are saying "I am to lazy to make a couple of phone calls and ask for a letter of recommendation." If you are that lazy now, what will you have to offer a chapter? The above poster is correct that they aren't as important at PU as say Alabama. With that being said, having a rec form is like getting introduced early. The chapter will already know something about you before you even walk in the door. Past the first party, unless you are a legacy it doesn't matter. Most houses, if they carry a legacy thru pref parties, she will be on their bid list. With that being said, a legacy in most houses are only Grandmother, mother or sister. Aunts and cousins aren't legacy.
