You might see smaller houses doing a fall COB. If they did, it would make sense for them to look at their bid list and see if any girl they had on their list was cross cut and invite her. Or there might have been a great girl they liked but dropped from recruitment, they might reach out to her. This is an easy way for them to build up there numbers. I have never heard of either DZ or Alpha Phi doing a fall COB. They always make quota and they don't need to. If either of these houses COB in the spring, generally its because they have members studying abroad and those members do not count towards house totals. I don't think Alpha Phi did COB last spring.
