I would do more than just six frats but this is going to take me a lot of time to write out so don’t be mad that I didn’t do yours. These are the descriptions of the house, what to expect, and just an overview. Sigma Chi (sig chi)- historically this is from the top house on campus. They used to throw the best parties and have the most alumni connections to the school which makes them basically invincible. They have really cool guys in the house itself is huge and well put together. This is a great house to rush but be ready for pretty bad hazing. The only problem with Sig chi is that they actually got in a ton of trouble last year so they are dropping off right now. But they are still a good house to Rush. Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) SAE Has probably taken over as the best house on campus. They throw the best parties now and the dudes are absolutely sick. Pledgeship is time consuming and the house is far from everything but it’s big and nice. It gets dirty but that’s from so many people being in and out. Definitely an elite place to rush. Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) - historically this has been a great house to join. The guys are very cool and they’re exclusive if you like that. Only problem with them is that they bidded a bad pc last year and they haven’t branched out when it seems like the other relevant houses have been functioning together. Definitely still good place to rush though. The house is small and dirty but it is definitely still worth it. Beta Theta Pi (Beta) - Beta is consistently a relevant house. The guys are really down to earth and you can tell when you’re talking to a beta guy. They’re well put together and care about school a lot. Their pledge ship is a lot longer than a lot of other houses. I am not sure how hard it is though. Their house is massive and one of the nicest on campus. The only knock about Beta is that they are a dryhouse but definitely a great place to rush. Theta Chi (Theta chi) - this house has gained a lot of steam in the last year. They would not be on this list if it was the fall semester of 2021. But they have had a crazy string of really good pledge classes. These guys are similar to Beta but party a little bit more since they aren’t a dry house. The only knock on them is that some of their older guys are still weird but they’re rising sophomores and juniors carry the house. They have a great location and a huge house that is always well-kept. this is a great place to rush and should be on everyone’s list. Delta Tau Delta (Delts) - this is another elite place to rush. Delts throw the best darties and that’s a fact. These guys are crazy though. If you’re a huge party head this is the place for you. Their pledgeship is insanely hard. They have a great location in a beautiful house on the outside but the inside gets really really dirty so if you’re fine living in filth but still want to have a crazy time this is a good place for you. The only knock on Delts is that they’ll sometimes miss on bidding a kid who may be weird. Other than that a great house. The six houses should be on everyone’s list to rush. There are other great houses to Rush that may suit you better but if you want to see how the really big houses function then definitely rush these six.
