I came on this site looking for current info regarding rush. My daughter went through rush this year and is devastated that she didn’t receive invitations to the pref round. I’m shocked - she is super smart with a high gpa, an athlete, friendly, pretty, was popular in high school, and genuinely wants to participate in Greek life. I was in a “top house” at purdue back in the day, still close with some of my sisters, and she was hoping for a similar experience with lifelong friends. She feels so rejected and humiliated by the rush experience. She thinks with zoom she just didn’t get to meet enough people and she didn’t come across well in that medium vs. in person. All I can wonder is what the hell happened?!? She’s interested in cob, so just trying to find more info. My experience in my sorority was 20 years ago, so not sure what the deal is now. Any advice appreciated :)
