Been bored for days since lockdown. my 2 cents on this. It doesn't really matter if the greek community calls out Aphi on only bidding attractive/ skinny girls. I think their top house branding attracts superficial people in general in fact it just adds to the exclusivness to it. Like if your in Aphi, you're essentially an elite member. Aphi will still be a top house just because they have attractive people. Grades, community service, academics only shift houses around in the same tier level. But will never allow you jump a tier. I also think a lot of mid houses are taking advantage of this scenario to possibly pull some chicks that were considering joining aphi. In all honesty though, in order to be a top house (strat or frat) you need attractive people. And this brings up an unfortunate truth that most minorities are considered unappealing to houses during the bidding process. Bidding too many minorities brings up the idea that you are a low tier house because you could not get enough white people to rush. Nobody wants to be considered a low tier house. You can call my statements cap or BS but give me an example of the last time a multi cultural house has paired with a mid tier house or even held a fundrasier/ event. People don't want to function with a bunch of minorities its a fact.
