I’ve been everywhere and it’s really common for fraternities to function with each other especially since it means bigger and more fun functions. But Purdue Greek Life culture is really rigid where a lot of houses party with the same houses over and over again and don’t party along all tiers, it’s worse than some of the best party schools. But it’s finally starting to change since this is the first time since I’ve been here where it seems like about as many decent houses have gotten off probation (Theta Chi, Pike, Dchi) as have been put on (SAE, Kappa Sig, Phi Psi). So really as long as you’re in one of the biggest ~15 houses you’ll have a fun time with different groups of people. And even if not people still love it. Hope this answers everything I remember being just as curious how Greek life actually works.
