Some houses are known for going out more and tbh there's an unspoken peer pressure to party when everyone else in your PC is. NOBODY forces you to go out in ANY house but sometimes older girls will roll their eyes if the freshman PC aren't pulling their weight in maintaining their houses social rep. I was a 4.0 student in HS but joined a sorority that's known for going out more. I barely scraped above a 3.0 freshman year. Obviously I have my ish together now and honestly idt I'm as easily swayed by fomo but trust me, some sororities party more than others and it WILL affect you.
