Hello everybody. I know this may not be a customary thing or even seen much on Greek forums, but I was wondering about rushing and pledging to fraternities at Purdue. Purdue is my number one pick for college and (while not trying to be overly-confident nor come off that way) I'm almost positive that I'll be accepted. After being accept I plan to join a fraternity because of how illustrious, intellectual, yet relaxed the majority of them are. Also, I've heard the leadership is great and the connections made with your brothers are greater than any other. What I was wondering was what most fraternities look for in the people they eventually bid for. Currently I live in Japan (military kid, not Japanese) however I was born in Ohio, so I'm not an Indiana resident (if that were an aspect in fraternities choosing who they bid on). I feel like this is getting too long and I hope that someone reads this despite the length because tips would be great. I'm a senior in high school so I still have time to think about all of this but I believe it's better to get a start now rather than later. Thank you to whoever responds! Also if you're in a fraternity an email address or Skype name would be awesome! But honestly if that's weird you don't have to haha, I'm just trying to be flexible concerning my connectivity.
