Your feelings are not abnormal. You didn't get into your first choices and you're disappointed. That's normal. It doesn't mean you won't like your house. Give it some time and see if you're feelings change. My guess is they will. I'm in a house that was my 8th choice on day 1. I was super disappointed to be dropped my faves. But now a year later - I wouldn't trade my house in for any other. I love my sisters and my sorority. Best of luck.
