What did you expect? We all picked a tech leaning state school that's in a town with no culture to offer. Can you get more boring? And we're not even top tech students, we're rejects who not only couldn't get into top schools that are in interesting cities like MIT or Berkeley, we couldn't even get into Tier 2 schools like Georgia Tech or UMich. Purdue is pretty much the definition of basic.
